The AI Alliance

The AI Alliance in Silicon Valley is a California nonprofit organization that fosters ongoing dialogues among tech executives and policymakers in the global AI community.  We host annual US-China AI Technology Summits along with AI Industry Forums across various fields, providing a unique platform for open exchange and collaboration on global AI strategy and the governance of artificial intelligence.

Our Partners

The Future Society, AI Initiative, US

Created in 2015 within The Future Society by Harvard Kennedy School students and alumni, the AI Initiative gathers students, researchers, alumni, faculty and experts from Harvard and beyond, as well as citizens interested in better understanding, discussing and working on the profound consequences of the current AI explosion on our societies.  The AI Initiative participated various international policy platforms (OEDC, HKS Forums, French Parliament, etc.) on AI ethics and safety. 

Leverhulme Center for the Future of Intelligence (CFI), UK

Based at the University of Cambridge, with partners at the Oxford Martin School at the University of Oxford at Imperial College London, and at the University of California - Berkeley.  The mission of the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence (CFI) is to build a new interdisciplinary community of researchers, with strong links to technologists and the policy world, and a clear practical goal: to work together to ensure that we humans make the best of the opportunities of artificial intelligence as it develops over coming decades.

The AI Industry Alliance (AIIA), China

Founded in Oct. 2017, The AI Industry Alliance, comprised of over 200 tech companies in China, is aiming to develop AI industry standards, design specifications, regulation and compliance protocols, and creating open collaboration platforms to accelerate AI adoption across various industries, including autonomous vehicles, smart robotics and drones, AI in healthcare, AI in smart home and etc.  The AIIA is hosted by China Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT). 

Temasek Foundation, Singpore

Temasek Foundation is a Singapore-based non-profit philanthropic organization that engages communities, enables partners and supports programs to Build People in Health Care, Build People in Education, Build Bridges Between Peoples, Build Institutions of Excellence and Rebuild Lives & Livelihoods Affects by Natural Disasters.  Temasek Foundation International also manages the Singapore Technologies Endowment Programe (STEP).
